Collection: Native American Jewelry

Native American jewelry is known for its handmade designs in sterling silver, often set with turquoise, coral, and other local gems.  Navajo, Zuni, and Hopi are the three main tribes responsible for producing some of the most beautiful, creative and exciting sterling silver jewelry in American history.

Navajo jewelry is known for its use of large, chunky gems such as turquoise and coral.  Squash blossom necklaces are a signature Navajo design.

Zuni jewelry is known more for its intricate stonework including inlays, needlepoint, petit point, and clusterwork.  Meticulous stone-to-stone inlay pieces are representative of traditional Zuni designs, as are fetish necklaces, where different gems are carved into various sacred animals.

Hopi jewelry is known for its use of symbolism and overlay design work.  Unlike Navajo and Zuni jewelry, Hopi jewelry is usually absent of stonework.
